Rubbing Dimes

I am here;
you are there,
and we are one sometimes
Closeness isn’t close enough;
it’s like we’re rubbing dimes

As close as we’ll remember
is as close as two can be...
It’s the moment in the Union
When the you is part of me

Outside, inside, in the middle; choose which one to be
There’s no way the two of us can ever be all three

Two souls too far from heaven
to remember we’re all one
It’s one moment in a thousand
that might never be redone

Only in the Union do we feel as if we gave
a little to the other… Stole the deadly from the grave

The moment of the Union
when dimensions are the same...
It’s the closeness of the netherworld:
It’s Love we have to blame

A moment in the elsewhere and two minds are there, sublime…
as if they own the moment that no longer lives in Time

The moment that doth fool us
and hath sold us one as two
and the time we steal from heaven -
It's the me when I’m in you

A non-existent moment, thus, that signifies a pair
the Union brought together through a spiritual affair

It’s a lie to feed the masses
in a moment deeply true -
for when the Union’s over
we’re still standing here as two

You are here
I am there
but we’ll be one, more time...

Two within the moment of the Union…
rubbing dimes
.
.

    Recognized Divinity

who can know the mind of man
those words fell in my lap
there I nurse them there I stroke them
    children of my sap

for the mind of man is nothing
    yet in Him it's All
for the mind of man is bluffing:
    Love is all in All

    softly cuddled I'm the mother
    of the words I feed
still in awe by Love's swift wonder:
    we unite in need

with no beginning and no ending
    time is just a sham
yet love unfolding who you are
    assures me that I AM

"It’s two souls too far from heaven to remember we’re all one" Sighhh...Gorgeous & eloquent as always, em...but I don't even need the 20 cents... Ahhh, I have always been & still am a romantic, to be sure...I especially enjoyed the spiritual aspect of this piece, Scribe...Far too many omit the spiritual from their various pursuits, then wonder why misery finds them willing & waiting...For me, there is no division between Heart, Mind, Body & Soul...They are all a piece of the same puzzle that remains incomplete without the others...Indeed, you are perceptive, discerning, astute & generally have a keen eye of clarity, which you always share with the rest of us so generously...How wonderful it is to have 2 new poems by em to peruse...Good luck in the contest, Scribe... WOAH!
A sense of connection with the depth of perception...
    Impressive is the love.
"How much money do you need to love on?"
    20 cents would be enough.
