Daydreamer
Daydreamer is the
Soul of pain; with
A cut emerges nothing
No blood, no tears
He stares on the
Window with no care,
Little remorse for
The life he's lead
He frowns when
People watch and
Cries when no one
Does, he hates
The soulless emotions
He portrays and
Expresses, his
Face is the face
Of nothing
His hopes dwindle
As he seeks for
Life in the cold
Air he breathes
He dreams of life
Changed from his past
The life he's lead
Is so unloved that
He desperately needs
To be shown a little
Emotion, but no one
Cares, no one cares
This curtain known
As death and this
Stage is suicide
Slowly form an
Endless team that
He along awaits.
At night he is
Unconscious to the
World and at day
The life is only
Shown with a
Melancholy expression
His eyes are full of
Sorrow and malcontent
His lips curl to an
Extended frown that
Everyone has seen
His lips seek for
That smile that will
Ease his ill-forsaken
Mind from death
And unfortunate loneliness.
Martyrdom is king
And sorrow is queen
Helplessness and fear
Our their armor
Black occurs not
At night but in
The reoccurring dreams
That overtakes his day
The only words
That leaves his
Lips is the
Painful goodbye
That he once
Said to the girl
He thought he
Loved, and
He'll scream
Her name and
Pull his hair
The men rush
In and stick
Him with a
Needle that
Will bring him
Back to the
Consciousness
Reality that
The window never
Existed as he
Sits in that
Padded room
Of the insane asylum.
And he'll drop
One final tear
To the thought
That the one
Girl he loved
Never once
Existed.

i love it because its just so honest and brutal and i love it i love the whole thing. one last thing i love what you put in your authors notes -
Very very interesting... i loved how you were able to keep this charater in your story look sane, until the very end, it was an unexpected thing to see this man trapped in an asylum, and that the person he loved never existed...
something i didnt see coming,
very well written...
also thank you for following the rules,
