I think that many actually fear themselves and that battle. I know I did for a very long time. Getting inside our own heads and facing those old scars etc is not a fun thing to do, but this is a fact you've said here.

Damn! How dead on this one is. This is the solid truth on life. We are our own worst enemies
Solid piece!

wow, i never thought about this like this but you are right dead on with it, until we can face ourselves in the true light, we haven't learned or won a thing, very well said hun. be well and be blessed

Interesting quote... Loved the choice of words and the meaning behind the quote. I appreciate you taking the time to enter

Very true! Like Shirley mentioned (I noticed as well and was going to comment on it before even reading her comment), I find your background/font colour selection very appropriate. Very profound and thought-provoking quote!

This is so very deep and good. You've made a powerful statement here. Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest

This is a very profound quote, and I feel wiser just for reading it. I also think the black background and white print are very appropriate. It's symbolic of life and death and truth and lies. Black and White.....
Okay, enough philisophical rambling,
well done.
Best wishes fellow poet,
Shirley

Guess thats why I am still fighting the battle as opposed to having a victory.
