Stellar Fireworks

An array of radiant colors

These wonders of the universe

Unknown and unexplored

Mystical newborn stars

Like fireworks in the vast expanse

Finally seen but already gone

Thanks so much for your kind words. I am so glad you enjoyed but i removed it. I entered the wrong one into your contest and it did not go with what you asked for so I removed it to make room for one that did.

“Finally seen but already gone” I love this line! It lets us know just how fleeting not only the universe, but our own existence is!

Thanks Fallen I am so glad you liked the write. It is true we don't relize the free and simple things till they're gone, but in the case of the stars, by the time we see them they are burned out.

A sad realization; we often don't notice beauty until it's long gone and too late. The stars, the heavens, and cosmos, all so far out of our reach, yet when we do see them, it's almost like they're right there beside you sometimes.

Again I thank you for the kind words. When I write something for me everything has to fit together, the words, photo, background and font. For me it all works together. It seems to help set the stage for what is to come.

Wow....how true this poem is....By the time we see a falling star, it has already been 30 years since it fell from what I read.....You captured some great truth in this write.....I am not a fan of crazy font....but for this poem...it worked out perfectly....well done Poet!

Thanks Leo for your kind words. I do believe it is a photo from one of those fancy expensive telescopes. And as soon as I saw it, I reminded of the 4th of July fireworks.

I don't know if the photo is from the Hubble telescope but it gives us a glimpse of one of the many wonders of our universe. I have always been fascinated by the night sky. Thanks for sharing this pristine, petite piece with us. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks Fiorentina for your wnderful interpretation. Everyone sees a poem from their own point of view. My only intent was to bring their beauty to words and that once we see them they are already dead and burned out. But you can interpret it any way you wish.

I like this. I'm not sure how you meant for this to be read- but the way I interpreted it is that the stars are so beautiful and full of wonder and unknown- and so many people take advantage of the thought that they'll always be there. So the stars are overlooked- and by the time people will take in their splendor- or want to- it very well may be too late. Like I said- I probably interpreted this completely differently- but that's poetry for ya I suppose.

How true. By the time we see them they are already gone - millions of light years away. Interesting picture you have chosen - poem fits it well. Easy to read and understand.
