When Friends Really Love You
I do not know why, nor do I care,
the Lord gave so much pain to bear.
With my dear friends, I made it through,
the darkest nights, the gray clouds too.
I've searched so many nights and days,
now sun peeks through the morning haze.
The ones I thought would still be here,
my eyes were blind, they did not care.
They never gave, devoured my soul,
You dear Lord have made me whole.
I did not follow your commands,
You still held out, your loving hands.
Now I run to You, in hurried stride,
as so called friends cast me aside.
The friends I love the most are here.
in my heart, these ones so dear.
Forgiveness Lord, is all you know,
you plant the seeds, make them grow.
Obedience is all you'll ask,
Have righteousness in each days task.
God's words will teach, a holy life,
a joyful noise where once was strife.
Lift on high, your praise and glory,
the Bible tells the greatest story

Very nice and very true!Iloves this because when you turn to Christ alot of your so-called friends all of a sudden become hard to find. But true friends will stand by your side no matter what. Even if they don't sahre the same belief as you. Great expression here and right to the point. Well worth the read!!! -
