when the tide pulls back its strength for the last time,
no place to hide away when death arrives.
as each regret and mistake flashes before your eyes
will you feel ashamed of a shallow life?
each moment that you waste waiting for the end,
that's one more piece of you that you'll never see again.
this hurricane, it never dies, turbulent and frightening.
but we all got one chance to do the right thing.
so do the right thing.
is a conscious mind just a complex illusion?
are there any paths that lead to conclusion?
are we at the mercy of these threads of fate?
or is the way truly ours to create...?
the identity i formulate, will it disappear?
how could i give in when so much remains unclear?
if i'm swallowed by the dark infinity,
will i still be me...?
...because i don't ever want to let this go.
a split second, lessons infinitessimal beckon, diggin deeper than you reckon, can't be settled with no weapons, so quit messin. somethin so brilliantly sublime it can't be described with words, through tunnels of time we swerve not really knowin where this existence eventually leads, quietly flowin through the vast interstellar sea, one with every sun and everyone and every tree, why worry 'bout the end when we still got so much to see?
over the hills and plains,
screaming like a siren
straight into supreme silence,
with a will that could move mountains...
...

There are the shallow and the deep. Living in entirely different worlds that are light years apart, even if they share the same house or bed. But it is not where the line will be drawn that separates the dreary from the doomed. A firy finger will draw a bizarrely shaped line in this world with the speed of Light. Thank you for creating and sharing this thought provoking poem. Take care,
U

Hey dude! I will have to listen to that...as soon as my new comp gets here!
What style of music is it? Very rhythmic. It has a good (albeit, kinda sad) message.
Great write!
