Loving you should make me happy,
But it has left me only sad;
Empty and depressed as well,
For I know what we could have had.
How I have loved you for a long while,
It was all for naught, in vain,
This gloomy cloud hangs over my head,
My tears sting like acrid, acid rain.
My heart is full of remorse,
My soul and psyche wracked in pain,
I shall bid adieu to you,
I give up, this is not worth
My sorrowful woebegone Melancholia,
Oh what a price for sanity, on Earth!

I love your choice of words they really add to your write! You've truly captured your loss in a beautiful yet heart wrenching way that others can relate to and actually say I know how you feel meaning it...
I like the beginning everything really flowed and rhymed well and then towards the end that feel was a bit lost I think.
WELL DONE! I throughly liked this write. I'll be reading more...
Take care of yourself and those you love and care for!!!
