Still of Night

Nothing moved in the still of night
Nothing but a gentle breeze
It seemed for once that all was right
As you heard the quiet rustling trees

Nothing but a gentle breeze
Disturbed my thoughts, sitting by the stream
As you heard the quiet, rustling trees
A light shone down, a gorgeous beam

Disturbed, my thoughts, sitting by the stream
I stared at the crescent moon
A light shone down, a gorgeous beam
And far away I heard the cry of a lune

I stared at the crescent moon
It seemed for once that all was right
And far away I heard the cry of a lune
Nothing moved in the still of night

oOo. Pretty. It was interesting too, because I kept expecting something to happen, so it gave it a rather eerie feel.
    Tasty.

    love.
