Love Shines

she's so happy
she's smiling through her tears
as she walks the aisle
into his eyes she stares

they reach the front
her father kisses her cheek
he gives her hand over
to the man whose waiting

she's so happy
she's smiling through her tears
as she softly repeats
those precious words for all to hear

they turn together
presented as Husband and Wife
she simply smiles
as the love shines in her eyes
