She Broke Down And Wrote A Love Poem

I've never written a love song that was not wrapped in lies,
I always kissed and told and I did not like one man to call home.
Never held down and I always kept moving on and running away,
feeling like some demon was trying to steal away my freedom.

Sunrise in the morning, set in the evening with a new twist of fate,
icy toes hit the floor on that October morning; I agreed to meet you.
The lady meets those eyes that danced within her dreams all these years,
he suddenly realizes that he cannot ever again be without this girl.

Sins of lust and and envy still dance upon this tainted woman's skin,
but her heart finally has some definition now and none of it matters.
Amazing that in a single moment of history could one so jaded become so..
beautiful again because at that first touch a kind of lightning struck.

Superficial skin sets fire she burns alive with a love at first sight,
underneath the new skin is still sore but she is now as a virgin.
Love broke through her cold shell and became her saving grace,
her sins forgiven she takes his hand forever...
