Here it is
Or so it would seem
The chance of a lifetime!

I thought
I knew
But I was wrong.

I had imagined
I had hoped
But it was all for naught.

This love
This mystery
This unknown

Once again
I put myself in the line of fire
And the pain destroys!

I was sure
I had no doubt
But still I was empty.

Never again
I said
But still I'm drawn back.

This feeling
This challenge
This unknown
