Cyberspace Love: for Night Hope

What can possibly happen
over the clicks of the keyboard?

Can a person's life change forever?

Two abiding poets read impassioned IM's

sent back and forth

and see into each others' eyes.

Souls.

We each have waited a lifetime
for this destined moment.

Correct words and proper cliches

fall by the wayside.

When we're not online
it's almost painful.

And then, with our first communication,
all becomes clear:

peace, calm, love.

O the love!

Hundreds of miles between us,

for now.

to be continued...

How come I don't know about this thing that going on here right under my nose!!! But wow, I am so happy for your both. Wanda, or Vlindertjie (that is Afrikaans for "little butterfly") has been one of my most dear friends here on AP and she is very close to my heart. So anything that concerns her happiness is my happiness too. WOW, I just love reading about this love unfolding here on the pages of AP - what is better than two poets in love. At least you are on the same continent - my loved one and I were just too far away...so it ended in tears. But I wish you all the best. This poem just sings..... may you both sing. Oh, the love - I like this!!

I'm so happy to have found this poem...
    I found...well, he found me, actually...here on AP...he's amazing.
And it's so SO hard not being able to be with him and my friends just think i'm insane to love him so much...

I'm glad to see there's other crazy people like us. =]

    Delightful

AM I BELIEVING THIS??? No one more deserving than Wanda- this I am sure of. I myself am in this position, but not so terrified...because I have met my best friend, and we are promised in that regard forever.

If you believe, and have FAITH- I have seen it happen.

Wonderful!!! Congratulations...to both of ya...are butterflies fluttering?

Great poem for a marvelous lady and human being.

I believe that when souls are meant to find each other, they will. I believe that, if you have integrity online you have nothing to worry about because that soul shines through. Certainly I have heard of the ones that were not meant to be, I am sure we all have, but my five year relationsip is a product of having a soul find me and us allowing it to proceed naturally. Tkae love as it finds you, give love where you find it needs to be. Blessings to you both for these magic moments that are, indeed, life changing.
Once I was told, after a long period of making danged sure I never got into a relationship, that when I was ready, to simply let the Unviserse know. I came to that palce where I did not want to grow old alone, to a place where the comfort of a body, a voice, a heart was needed to share fullness of my life. We have been togehter three years. I retired early and have moved to the states. I have sunken into the most comfortable, peaceful, sweet and loving relationship I have ever had in my life. I pray it be so with you. You did not choose each other, the Universe allowed you to be found.

    Hugs, admiration, and respect,
    Carol.

I just read Wanda's poem that linked me to this And now I know the reason she seems to have been smiling across her writings as of late. May the smiles continue...and the flicker of hope never extinguish any dreams

Mellow moons and November I've alway found bewitching, but this October has set me spinning here on AP. Our silvery enchantress is a master alchemist, spinning her reflections gold.

This was a nice view of online relationships and whatnot. They are often hard to get into and through when they falla apart, but they can sometimes be well worth it. I was ib one and it did end up going to shit, but I hope yours works out!! Happy trails!

This is very true. In ways, I think its better this way, so you can know a person's soul... before anything else.

    Wonderful writing.
