Untitled revenge

I'm your blackened banana skin,
The meat ravished off the bone,
Your dirty leftovers from last month,
Bagged up and cast out your home.

What a pathetic excuse of intimacy,
Maybe one day I'll figure it out,
I'll understand why you did what you did,
And what "we" were all about.

But for now, I smile and say it's fine,
Wearing my mask with great pride,
While, internally, I rip you limb for limb,
Never forgiving the fact you lied.

Be warned, tonight, before you sleep,
Secure the doors and windows to your home,
You won't be able to see me there,
But I'm not ready to leave you alone.

You abandoned, spat on, devalued me,
Kicked and cast me aside,
But it doesn't matter how fast you can run,
Because I will find you - you can't hide.

Close your eyes and count to ten,
Convince yourself it's just a bad dream,
It'll be your back with the knife in this time,
And no one will be present to hear you scream.

My hands wrung around your throat,
Choking out the last Satanic breath,
Crushing desperate beats of your black heart,
That's if, there is any of it left.

Hung on a hook by your feet,
Blood drips from every pin-pricked pore,
The grand finale from the unwanted, unloved,
But I won't let myself be "second best" anymore.
