Dry I Am -Bronze

Missing image
backs bent into appropriate poses
arms made to reach like a sudden wish
dry dry woman in dry dry land

no heart to this frozen like salt
made of men’s salvaged dreams
dry dry man in dry dry dreams

only sting of desert here
landscape scraped bare
dry dry eyes in dry dry heads

footprints echoes of sift
hate hanging in bland blue eye
dry dry traces of dry dry people

Yes, it speaks of the loss of spirit in man that has manipulated its own dryness. We are all ravaged people. We are barren of those things that should have meant most. thank you for your comment.

    Absolutely Amazing

I may be reading it wrong. What I feel from this write in my interpretation is that of a ravaged race plunged almost into extinction through hatred and greed, leaving them and their land barren. Please do correct me if I’m wrong. I really love this image and the stories it could tell through the eyes of others, and I love what you have penned here. It goes so perfectly with the image. Amazing job on this piece. Thanks so much for your entry.

Ingenious as man maybe,he can't in all his efforts match the natural living art seen in natures display.I gave some thought to using this one.But couldn't really come up with a thing besides "attack of the gargantuines".But you did and quite well.~Suseann

I like this, shewolfnative. To me, a message of people losing sight of what is really important in life. Kimberly G.
