I was new
And you was too
Of friendships that ends up after you
Our relationship bonds like a string, tide to a knot
But of course, not listening to Slipknot
To see you broken-heart and weep
Make me stay all night and not let me sleep
We agreed that we got each other’s back
And not let anymore love takes us in as a snack
If you trust this friendship, we will hold it and will never end
We will then mend this to a certain level of a trend
If a shoulder you need to borrow
Then take this friend and for never be in sorrow
Don’t worry
Let go of this reflection of fear
And share it above of what is near
Hand in hand, I am your one true mate
Here by your side, that won’t make you debate
Debate the things you live to hate
Won’t sharpen the true love for you to take
Take this hand for ever more
A true friend to be on the river’s shore

Dear Dove,
Thank you for commenting and welcoming me to Allpoetry. Can I be your friend on here? I don't have any friends on here, and I was wondering if you could be the first to do so, lol. I'll add you on my favourites when you agree with me.

What a wonderful friendship poem. This has tenderness and shows lots of love. Nicely done
