Droplets

Simple droplets,
pulled by the smallest of forces,
joining the huge number of others,
the slight dripping noise of water meeting water.
Ripples are sent out in all directions,
disturbing the rest of the population,
reflections distorted,
colors changing,
shapes shifting.

The water is no longer placid,
it won't calm down for a while.
Reverberations bounce back from the wall holding them all together,
by the time it all would calm down,
more drops will have fallen.

Author notes

There are two other things I'd like to add in, but I have no idea if I can find a way and/or place to put them. These are the two things.
I wanted to put something along the lines of 'the drop is reflected out of shape in the water' somewhere around the dripping noise line.
The other thing is this,
'You can feel the water on the air,
the purest of liquids,
it feels calming,
but you know every molecule is vibrating,
never to be calmed.'
Somewhere around 'shapes shifting'.
Any suggestions on these are appreciated
