A father drinking his day away
Bottle after bottle
His darling daughters know routine
Stay out of the way
Or face the consequences of his actions
'What the fuck do you want from me?'
He yells at the oldest, 7 years old
'Nothing daddy, I'm sorry'
Holding back the tears of knowing what's to come
SMACK
She hits to floor hard
But not as hard as his hand hit her face
His five-year-old hates this part
She sees it every night
She knows not why she's not the victim
In this vicious game he plays
Only her sister takes the blows
She loves her sister
'Daddy no!' she cries as tears stream down her face
'Shut up you little bitch' He screams
He hits the girl again
This time blood trickles from her nose
Scared, she cries
She curls into her ball, and just sobs with each fist
She doesn't know why she's the only one he hits
The pain is just unbearable
She can only cry
Author notes
This is a very rough piece, please let me know of any changes that should or need to be made. I plan on working on it over the necxt few days, so it may be a totally different poem by friday, who knows.

Ouch >_> I hate abusive people. You know why, or atleast you should. This was a really heartbreaking piece, Veronica. I could really feel the emotion in it. AND I totally think someone is outside >_> It's -10. I'm not going out there xD
