In solitude of an unchained mind
Decrying these external sensations
Serenity and high exaltation
Pour forth in channeled pathways
A perfect contentment, a place sublime
Here do I find, buried deep within
Where the ever-binding thirst of mortality
Fades out, and oneness only remains
The essence of being then shows itself
To be like an intangible dream
Traveling slowly through this onerous life we live
As slaves to our own delusional ideals
Nothing could ever be completely spontaneous
No thing could come forth out of nothing
The true destiny of self-aware beings
Is never to truly know, only surmise
Utopia exists only in our heads
While we continue to slaughter each other with wars
None will compromise
We find solace in thinking of happier things
