Slowly

Slowly she sinks down onto the chair,
Slowly she eases her bones into it,
That hard hard chair made of steel.
Slowly her bones shift into place.

Slowly reaching for the keyboard,
Slowly typing out the words
That will connect her readers
Slowly with her slowly forming thoughts.

Slowly she rereads what she has
Slowly she forms an opinion of herself
That speaks of failure,
Slowly increasing failure.

Slowly she clicks out of the words
Slowly sends them back into oblivion
That no one will ever find again.
Slowly she rises from the chair...

Don’t go! That’s the impression that I got from this, that you’re leaving the site Tell me you’re not going (but only if it’s true). This was an excellent personal write. A great example of ‘show don’t tell’ with its description. Keep writing, this was an excellent poem I want you to stay at AP!
    All the best
