A cool white mist envelops
The dim frostbitten morning,
As a soft wind flows gently
Through grass kissed by a sweet dew
Making a faint melody.
Sunlight dances on the fog,
Streaming down from the heavens
In ribbons of shining gold,
Playing over flower blooms
Spotted with remnants of rain.
Birds serenade mother earth,
Singing of her eternal grace
And greeting the bright new dawn
Derived in her waking soul
On this morn, the dawn of spring.
