March On...

Scream aloud your fight for your rights
Marching, chanting, passion

This is what beauty is

While one side fights
The other waives their rights

Lennon led us
"terrorism" held us
now, we are silent

Now, we are lost
disorganization
someone with a bullhorn
being led with misrepresentation

But beauty
true beauty
lies in freedom.

Author notes

This is a poem about what I feel, everything that I feel, when I see the marches for freedom and to end the war that happened back in the 60's, I have never seen anything more beautiful.

    This is great! it jumps out and grabs you, inspires you! the strength your writing holds and the images it stirs up are awesome, and infectious.. you took the reader back the time to very well.
