Love is a beautiful thing
It paints life with vivid colors
Colors of pain
Blended with colors of gain
That fills our heart’s
Bare barren canvas
With an abstract art
Which only a person who has loved
And ended up with a broken heart
Can very well understand
What art of love is really all about.
Love is a beautiful reality
That keeps our heart
Warm & fuzzy
Through cold nights
Sure it comes with tears
Not only of sorrows, but
Lots of laughter and smiles
No matter what it brings
One thing it does
For all of us
Gives us a deeper understanding
And an ability to appreciate
Life in totality
Even if we end up with a broken heart
At least we know we have a heart.
Love is life as life is love
One is incomplete without the other
The ups and downs
The joy comes with sorrows
Road comes with blocks
But we don’t stop
Until we reach our destination
We sure rest a while
Take a break to catch a breath
But keep moving further
Bit by bit, little by little
Then why stop falling in love all over again
Even if our heart was once broken
Into million small pieces
At least now we know
We have a heart to begin with
That only makes a true human
Who feels the pain
That helps us never to hurt others
It’s only a broken heart
That truly understands
What is to love and then loose it.
Love is indeed exactly
What doctor ordered
For our society
If we never loved
We would have never realized
The importance of joy
That love brings into our life
We will never know love
If we never try
And then keep trying till we succeed
In achieving the ultimate gift of love
Put on this green earth by none other than God
Then who are we to question
The existence of great love
That’s packaged with a broken heart!

Without love in our lives we would wither and die. This does not mean a man or womens love alone. I feel that any love, family, friends, ect. is all important to health and wellbeing. I loved this, very well said.

Hi there minoomalik and thank you for this entry, you go into depth about heartbreak and the hope of love and I agree how can we love and know that we love if we haven't suffered heartbreak also
I was hoping though for a romantic piece from you, something to woo me, a little more uplifting and personal from you to me, I'm looking for an AP husband who will sometimes write romantically for me and the very first poem which is this one has to make an impact
