Life is but more than a breeze,
to be taken in heartfelt tender degrees.
Grass tickles the soles of my feet,
my eyes are startled by the golden street.
This world and the stars may one day entwine,
setting me a path to the ends of time.
Sunny days wait for when I wake,
then it's just tiny steps I take.
For now I have so much to see,
watching for all God's gifts to me.
Over the seas and the wildest hills,
through summer sweats and winter chills.
I see no lost hopes nor scenes forlorn,
as I wait to rep the seeds newborn.
Secrets bought,traded or sold,
for worthless pennies or dimes of gold.
The sun spins around this earth once more,
the tides again soak the rocky shore.

as on the horse of gentle dreams I mount.
From secret streams I bathe and drink,
into the thought of goodtimes I quietly sink.
The guiding hand of life's moonlight pole,
showing the way to the joys I control.
As angels descend on the wings of grace,
I look around thanking God for this place.

This is for my good friend Krystal,she has the joys of a family she loves and she loves to work on her farm.Her poetry is really worth a look,well thought out and cleverly done.Shug

My dear friend,a beautiful piece of poetry in honour of your friend.I adore the radiance within this,the hope,the sense of giving and recieving.Small typo,"rep" methinks you meant to type "reap" Especially liked this phrase "as on the horse of gentle dreams I mount" that is the overall feeling,a gentleness and what a nice feeling to portray.Well done,an enjoyable read,love and light,Yvette
