Child of mine

Life is so very precious
Especially when it is given as a gift from above
A small bundle of joy
To have
To hold
To cuddle
To teach
A daughter of mine
A daughter of Eve
Ten tiny little toes
Ten tiny little fingers
Skin softer than any silk
Warmer than any blanket
Your brown eyes the color of french chocolate
And your lips a soft, pale pink
I thank God for my gift

Thanks for letting me still keep the poem in the contest. I just hope that it reaches hearts of those who understand what it's like to have a child. Anyways, thanks for the comment and I can't wait till the contest is over! I think I'll read the other entrants to see what the competition is. LOL. Anyways, thanks again!!! (^_^)

Nothing could be more precious than to hold your newborn for the very first time. Congrats!
