Ask not the things I once knew
Of trust held in eyes so true
Captive of heart's pure essence
Prisoned as lonesome peasants
Words spoke soft without meaning
Cruelty has been demeaning
Yet you say, love's in your heart
Been there from the very start
How can love be so blinding
The fool I was, I'm finding
Trapped within, sacred trust
Evade your lies, now I must
Escape the pain holding me
Let me go and set me free
Release me from prison's bond
This heart, soul, already gone
Let me find true love again
And bring this pain, to an end

Found once love...overwhelming and consuming...feeling the way and with little trust...in the self shaped mind was this not congruent...every little corner looking round...as out of line as if you'd stayed. The only escape from an old self: To see a different self in the mirror of a lover's eyes. You've led me eloquently, with your words, along inside your want...thank you...I enjoyed being there.
