SOFT LIGHT
(seasonal transition
winter yearning for spring
twin tree duet)
there is a tenderness
floating from the sky
a silver light
of memories that slowly die
it is not sun
nor lamp
nor star
it is moments
drifting afar
the light of a season's
soft
farewell
it is the sound
of the evening bell
ringing remembrance
of sweet jasmine
of frangipani humming
in the dying sky

a soft and gentle piece here, ar winter, lay down your head now please, spring is eager to show her bloom, let her wash the land with promise, let her sing her scent to all, winter, please lay down and sleep

No problem, Poet.

Splendid. I hope you'll not find it offending making a compilation with my lines:
"...As a kiss is the law of a morning bell, the light of a season's
soft
farewell
(it )is the sound
of the evening bell "
Sorry, for the plagiarism, i promise not to send or publish
i know it changed everything, I just couldn't stop doing. Best wishes.

insightful art, from picture to words. I am loving my journey through your works here. I am going to read more, but unless I can think of something to say other than "Oh, this is so wonderful!" which is what I find myself wanting to say of everything I'm reading of yours, then I may not comment because I don't want to sound redundant. but your writings are all just divine...truly words from the mouth of a goddess and I'm honored to sit in your shadow and read

Beautiful work here, indeed. Your work reminds me of the great Emily Dickenson...in the way she's so connected with nature. I am too, I have a lot of poems about nature.
Keep it flowin.

exceptional poetry dear lady
is that a eucalypt I see in that pic
I watch the chorus group itself
upon the verges of my hemisphere
stating themselves above the fields
where stand
the living and the dead,
like two answers waiting
for the questions to at last
be sung upon them;
a harmony of late coming tears.
will I shed with them here
my own song and after
remain in the nakedness
the rains granted to me? -
Thank you, Sherry and thank you, Rof.

rare piece as full of beautiful lines and images as the nature about which it is written. Lines spare but bursting with beauty at the same time. "lean and mean" in a awe inspiring way.

Excellent
Beautiful this had a gentle feeling to it Myra, the memories that come in like the breeze and leave its imprint upon the heart in years that have been forgotten bringing its sweet touch......through nature....
Love and hugs
