A Gift of Love

Shall we dance in morning twilight
Where stars kiss the dawning sun
New visions of life begun

Let us ride the moonbeams of love
Our gift cherished from the heart
Where passion struck from the start

New visions of life begun
Past memories fast fade
New stepping stones are laid

Where passion struck from the start
Love, mine to freely give
The gift in which we live

New stepping stones are laid
Let us ride the moonbeams of love
Shall we dance in morning twilight
A gift granted from heaven above

Keith, it amazes me that you can read so deeply into things I write. I mean, I know a lot of people probably can, but, well thank you for your wonderful words. It means much to me.

    Storm...

I am sitting here and wondering what I could say to match this most beautiful poem you have written...

Love the gift from up above
    making us surrender to it
giving us strength in time of need
    dancing on the clouds above
beautiful memories never to be lost
    caring for each other
    and spending blissful hours
    in each others arms

I really loved this and you inspired a little piece created just for you...Nothing compared to yours obviously...

    Thanks for sharing hun...
    Love ya

    Beautiful

I feel the hurt even now even though it is a sonnet of love.
The stepping stones so carefully placed your eyes open in hope that this time you can trust.Your feet bare as you walk across the stream, wise to the world yet wishing to be so innocent in love and need.
That the stream may turn into a river, of need, and the stepping stones washed away forever. Along with the past so that a new day and a wonderful love can grow, and run free within the vast heavens above, free and untainted.Just simple honest pure love.
For you I wish this more than anything dearest lady.
For if anyone deserves such a love.
    It is you.
And when you see his eyes, which I know will be soon, you will fear no more to cross the stream, for you will feel the strength as he holds out his hand to guide you to him.
To a place in his eyes, where you truly belong.

    Dear poetess

    You are like wine
    rushing to my head
    sweet, bubbly and fine
    leaving my lips red.

Thanks love. It''s a style I created, mistakenly and it has just stuck. So now I have my own form of poetry, and other than acrostics, it's probably the only actual form I can write and not slaughter, lol.

    Appreciate your comments hun
