And then we'll smile and then we'll hug,
We're silent and standing still,
The smile frowns and hugs recede,
(Verse)
A sense of place and scale and time,
You're never wrong, I'm always right,
We'll look back on this and laugh,
We'll look back on this,
(Verse)
And this one's not for moving,
This one's not for changing,
Just an interruption,
It's just an interruption.
(Chorus)
Author notes
Written on the nature of arguments; how we seem to get into them just so we can make up later and how a conflict of interests never solves anything as people remain in their ways.
These lyrics accompany a song played by myself on a synthy keyboard.
You can listen to the track here. It's not the best quality, but it's the best I can do given the tools I have to work with:

Both the lyrics and music were meant to sound cold.

You're always right, I'm never wrong - how true that is of most arguments; takes two to create an argument, and when neither gives in or apologizes, nothing gets settled. Great lyrics, sentiments well expressed in these lines - easy to read and understand.

"You're never wrong, I'm always right," I like that as a quote on it's own. I also like the concept that arguments don't really count for anything... "just an interruption", then things go back to normal, ready for the next.
As for style/structure, I can't put my finger on it exactly but it's writen well. It flows, doesn't skip, etc.
Great write,

Thanks for the comments, I've now put up a link to a website with some songs of mine on, including this one. The quality's a bit amateurish, but it's the best I can do at present.
Dan.
