.
I lie in my bed
surrendering
to gravity's call...
I breathe deep
then exhale
resting in the dark...
Fresh cool air
slips
through my window screens...
Autumn approaches
tender and silent,
kissing me softly...
I release and let go
falling
into the realm of dreams.

Peaceful nocturnal rest has been inspired to me in this seasonal cool fresh breezy piece. You expressed one acute aware living gift of life in this.I'm now ready for a quiet nap,and I've only been awake an hour.Ha! Got me yawning and seeking out my blanky to snooze a little longer this a.m..~~Suseann

Beautiful!
Dear poet, This was worth waiting for! I love the entire feel of it, the bed, the air, the dreams to come. What joy to have a morning to wake up to and an evening to fall in to. This was so comforting to me! Beautiful! Jane -
When things are like this, why would we wish something else? Acceptance breathes through your words, and the beauty of the season.

Gravity! Not just a good idea- It's the law! lol
Enjoy your dreams, and your "down" time, as much as you can considering the circumstances. Good to see you're still writing...

It is great to see your pen is moving again. I wish you only the best of dreams, at night and in life. Dream lightly my friend, remembering that dreams are not real, for eventually we all wake up.

Falling into dreams is as sweet and serene as falling into love. Come sweet Presence. Let us drift upong the turning colors and watch the wheel of life turn.

How beautiful. How pleasant! Your voice seems softly silent, but their force is omnipotent. I hope you are doing better, my Friend!

I loved this, Your words painted a picture in my mind and I could feel the fall winds gently blowing on my face and see the Autunm colors on the leaves falling on the ground
