Come To Me Jesus
Come to me Jesus, fill me up,
teach me now, overflow my cup.
Let your spoken word sear within,
show the way, free me from sin.
Bow to thee in adoration,
sing your praise in jubilation.
I praise on high, my dear Lord,
hymns I sing in sweet accord.
Please take me Lord and sanctify,
Oh Majesty who rules the sky.
Let me atone for all of my sin.
then Lord let my Salvation begin.
Bow to thee in adoration,
sing your praise in jubilation.
To only You I praise on high,
forgive me Lord, do not deny.
So many blessing you bestow,
why so many, I do not know.
I thank you Lord on bended knee,
for all Your love and blessing me.

Great writing from you again. The rhyming was perfect as was the theme. I especially liked how this ended. I often wonder why God is so good to me. I certainly don't deserve it. I do not understand his goodness to me. I can only accept it and be thankful. I loved this piece as I do everything you write. God bless you, Mark

The Lord and all his angels celebrate for you
Singing, dancing, trumpet blasts too.
Another on the mighty Lords palm
Written etched forever bound
To have the Lord in His heart
Never will you be apart
He calms us within our storms
He lifts us up when forlorn
A mighty warrior he makes helps us be
He strengthens us daily
On earth to fight the good fight
Turning Satans wiles from bad to right
Winning daily a earthly Quest
So we can enter heavens rest.

Excellent
Dear Sandy, I kept going through poems listed just under poems and could not find anything but sadness. I answered a couple and tried to give some solace to those who seemed to be hurting so badly. I kept looking and looking for something positive and could not find it, so in desperation I went to my favorites and came accross you and your beautiful poem. It was like a prayer that I want to say before I retire. Each day I look upward so many times and thank God for all His Blessings that He has bestowed on me. The Blessings I have received have been like miracles. Sure I have had my bad moments but I try as soon as possible to rise up from them. I was sickened by some of the things I was reading tonight. All I can offer is to send them a healing Blessing for their lives seem to be so mixed up. I just needed something refreshing before I read any more of the drivel I was reading. God Bless some of these unfortunate younsters who seem to have such bad feelings about life. I just do not know what I ever did to deserve all the Blessings I have in life as I know you have had also. Even with all the bad things I was reading I just know that there are people like you out there who write with love and beauty. Thanks for this. I needed that. I send you my deepest love.

Now a comment for the author! Wonderful words - a blessing on a dreary day. We must always remember how He blesses us, with things as small as toilet paper and a candy bar. How blessed are we who know and love Him!

This was a great poem which flowed well and showed love for God well. I liked the prayer-like spiritual nature of this piece. This poem had great use of rhyme. I found it very hopeful
All the best

Oh, my dear, sad friend - God DID NOT break your arm. He does not harm us. You were in a place and time when an accident was possible and it was just that - an ACCIDENT. Lord God Yeshiva has no time to punish silly little boys. And what sort of God would win by hurting someone else? Now I had an abusive husband who would do that. But God has always taken care of this old lady.
I count my blessings. Just today I wanted a sweet and it is several days to payday and food is short. But my scrounging in pockets and bags, I found enough for one. Now, silly or not, I bless that sweet that I am enjoying right now. I am grateful for a smile, an aluminum can, my small pittance, my tiny room, my permanently injured body - all of these are blessings to me.
Do you suppose Donald Trump calls his possessions a blessing? The pretty girls maybe,,, but they mean nothing to him...another one can always be purchased. Just as you, precious friend, are a blessing to me. Your comment filled my heart with sadness for you and I count my blessings that I know and love my Savior and have a joyful heart.

god broke my arm once.he broke it real good.it hurt and i was mad.we were fighting and him being bigger and stronger than me i lost.i do feel he cheated and that it was very childish of him to cause me such harm compared to my childish arguement that was really deserving of a lesser punishment.the punishment did not fit the crime but it got my attention and taught me to be more carefull.me not being the biggest fan of bible poems i thought i was in for torture as i began reading but i somehow found myself enjoying this but im left with the thought or question as far as blessings go i see bible people of all variety rich homeless and everything between counting their blessings.i question the so called "blessings" in and of themselves.the rich are thankful to be so fortunate to have the blessings of money cars etc while those with nothing count their aluminum cans as a blessing.this seems quite off to me.eyes of the beholder i suppose.sorry for rambling but you touched my mind with this piece.
