The Cemetary Gates of Incubi

The moon shines brightly upon the cemetery grounds
A crow cries somewhere in the dark
Somewhere people are dying,
People are crying
Every ones soul is within the cemetery gates

Sticks and stones form a pentagram
Upon the very heart of the grounds,
Incubi is near,
Blood is spilt upon the dead grass,
Chants are said
Chills crawl down your spine
Spirits from another life come to torment your soul
You cry and scream for help
As the creature within you takes over

No one helps,
It seems they're frozen in time,
You become something different
As you loose all consciousness

A few hours later you are drained and weak
Upon an alter is where you lay
With an Incubi priest standing over you slitting his wrists,
Offering you blood.

You drink greedily,
Because if you don't, you will die
You have not yet learned of the helpless soul you took,
You finally see it,
You crawl over to the limp body
And try to give them life,
But you know better than that,
For Incubus has already come for them

Fearing the demons you've never feared before,
Staggering towards a statue of the Christian bible,
Throwing your arms around it
The demons fall back as you fall back into the hands of Christianity,
Running back to the god you once knew

Excusing yourself to leave for the night
Knowing in your heart that you'll never return
To the cemetery where you had a friend in evil,
Or so you thought

The demons no longer torment you,
Souls no longer cry to you,
Everything is how it should be,
Never again to set foot upon the cemetery ground
