Gone part 2

Gone part 2
She decided not to get involved and ran out the front door to go back home and shut herself in her room. She would not let a tear fall down her face before she reached the safe heaven of her room but as she walked out she saw him standing there. She tried hiding her face from him but he was too quick for her. He came towards her and pulled her face towards his so that she was looking directly into his eyes. He had the brownest eyes she had ever seen. The shade of brown seemed to change with his temperament and now they were a shade of dark brown with anger. He did not realize what was happening to him but when he was her trying to hide her tears he could not bare it and he acted with speed that he did not know he had. He had seen Brianna coming out with her friend just moments before Alice had and he wondered if something had gone wrong but now he was sure Brianna had done this to her. He raced down the school steps and ran to where Brianna was. Alice could not hear the conversation between them but whatever it was had Brianna in tears and after sometime robin walked away from her towards Alice. Brianna’s disgust was clear on her face and Alice promised herself to stay away from her for a few days. Robin walked up to her and without asking her anything caught her hand and pulled her towards the library.

In the library he brought her an ice-pack to help reduce the swelling and as she sat on the chair he sat down on his haunches and put the pack on her wound. The whole time she did not look at him. She just stared at her shoes. When he put the ice on her lip she winced but not once did she cry out from the pain. The whole time he looked at her he wondered what had hurt him inside when he saw tears in her eyes. He was shocked to realize that he had never looked at her in class let alone talk to her and he realized how weird the situation may be for her. So before she could say anything he took out his math book and opened out the next day’s homework. She seemed relieved that he had done that for she would not have to say anything to him which was not required.

By the time they had finished it was close to dinner time and she was feeling scared to go home alone but again she did not want to ask him to drop her. But before she knew it he had caught her hand in his again and had taken her to where his bike was parked. Before she knew anything she was on his bike sitting behind him and he was dropping her home. The ride ended too soon and she found her saying goodbye to him. He did not reply but as he drove off he looked back and waved at her. This gave her a ray of hope for he still might say something to her other that, “what’s the answer.”
