love has made me a fool

Two years later,
distance rips us closer together.
you talk to me,
but like your imagination,
i'm not there.
I leave you nowhere,
but like a you,
it stays everywhere.

I can't tell you how much
my mind wished you to say:
you need me not to stay,
but to go away.
my heart is tripping
over broken strings,
my ears they yell so loud,
my eyes they start to ring.

hun, you have made me a fool.
in and out of pride
to wander restlessly between my sheets.
to greet the winter with my
cold and empty shoes.
