Two old women bickering as we walk
Growing old together never we would part
In my minds eye I've seen it so many times before
Living a long happy life with the sister that I adore
We fought, we fussed, it was always so much a part of us
Always there for each other giving and receiving each others trust
Fate stepped in and just took you away from me
My heart is broken and exposed for all to see
One woman alone and bitter, a burden to family and friends
Old before her time sitting and wondering when will it all end
Two old women growing old together will never be
One lonely woman thanking God for finally setting her free
Two old women bickering and walking in a cloudy mist
"Whatever took you so long" one reaching over and giving the other a kiss
Two old women at last together, twin souls reunited forever in heavenly bliss

I am so sorry for your loss. This made me cry. I dont have a twin but I have a sister who is the most precious thing to me, besides my children and i miss her terribly as she moved away. We shared everything. Feel as if half of me is missing. I am so very sorry for you. My heart and warm hugs I extend to you. God bless you and thank you for sharing. Dawn
