The river's flow is swift and deep,
& promises secret regrets to keep.
Sequined tides hide sorrowed pain,
washing spirits clean in currents claim.
On petals float cast anguished ash,
offerings set adrift of embered past.
A ritual of silent prayer sails far away,
gone emotional fill in release unstaved.
Compassion's found in the reflective deep,
accepting saddened tears that we weep.
Carry troubles to far off distant shores,
to a distant island of never more.
Alchemy liquid drift cure of heavy release,
poured out emotions confided find peace.

This is one of your best poems Suseann.
I like the spiritual quality you have given it, as well as the alchemy of transformation, thus reminding us that it is only in letting go that we can experience the possibility of transcendence through transformation.
Well done. Thank you for sharing this poem with me.
