Dreams

Which dreams come true

and which dreams lay down.

Do day dreams come true?

Our movie tale dreams of the dawn.

A dance after a dance,

One in suit and one in jeans.

Just themselves,

In a living room...

Fantasy we can deal with out,

Leave out nightmares behind,

Erotic can stay in our heads,

But can't our day dreams appear...

...when we want them too?

This poem was not really meant for the purpose of it being good, this poem was meant to try to get a point through one of my friends thick skulls, they know what it means, and I posted it because I wanted to see if people would take it odd ways, which sometimes happens. I'm sorry you could not handle whatever I said you earlier.

If you can actually make this poem make any sence please let me know at a later date. This really is shocking work. The use of the word true twice in the first stanza was just the begining of a slippery slope for this poem - if you can call this a poem. There is no structure in this poem, atleast mine made sense and it was from my heart as a tribute for my wife. Love carried the flow in my poem, what was your inspiration here? Drugs? Shouldn't with out be without? And the line Leave out nightmares behind- shouldn't that be our. Anyway, I don't think that you are in any position to insult my work as this piece clearly demonstrates your inabilty as a poet. James.
