I’ll miss your touch..

You’ve seen better days, that is no doubt
So tired and weak, just plain worn out
You’re so darned old you’re farting dust
You have run out of your, manly thrust

I’ve used you passed the point of repair
Your bag blew out and you have no spare
So now I’m off to find a brand new love
One that can suck and push and shove

Your hose has holes, you growl like a bear
Let’s face it honey, you’ve lost your flare
I do feel bad about throwing you away
But I just can’t afford to let you stay

Two vacuums would simply be, way too much
I’ll miss your screams; I’ll miss your touch

Thank you Sharcu for the comment. Yes I have been around awhile. I was a greeter for awhile, but it was before your time. As a matter of fact I was awarded the very first greeter of the month award. I see now that there are many… Boy time sure flies by. Thanks again Cindy

Though I've seen you all around the site, I've never read your poetry before. So I am honored you have entered it into my contest. I can see why you have quite the collection of trophies on your author's page. Well done! Thanks for entering and I hope to read more of your works in the future

This is very funny and very well written. I really like the humor that you used to discribe and old but yet comfortable appliance.
