The Runner

On to the tracks again.
Towards the blazing sun,
Running on the roughest path
With a head full of humming bees.

Trial,
              Honesty,
                              Effort,
                                         Learning………..
Failure.

Still, running on the roughest path
Towards the temple high,
A Hyena laughed out loud
While he was passing by.

Learnt,
             Retry,
                           Honesty,
                                            Effort………….
Betrayal.
A dead body, on the roughest path,
With swarming flies all around.  * *

Author notes

I have seen that often when you are in pressure of studies or of other things, poems come easily then. I have my year final next month. The poem came up while i was studying.

    Thank you so much!

Thought to stop by your site after you read my First Kiss today. I liked the formatting in this poem!

If your dragonfly, here to the left<<<, were to stop and rest after lighting on every one of your escalated words in the poem, at which one would she rest?

    Extremely well thought out, Sabu!

    Thanks again!

Thanks. The stylistic used in it is called "Geographical Deviation" the way words and spaces are used in a creative work.
