Path of Resistance

I find myself at a crossroads.

A road,

which I am sure

many have stood before.

It is here

that I turn.

Turn away,

from all the known;

embrace the unknown.

let my spirit be guided

only

by sun and moon.

Kneeling,

I lay down

all my childish beliefs

and pick up

what my soul

has always known.

Three times

walking,

towards a welcoming

matron guilded

only in white.

She smiles.

My spirit finds comfort

in this simple gesture.

I am overwhelmed

by an intense knowing

a power

bubbling...soon will brew.

    I would also suggest before you know someones' situation, walk a mile in their shoes my friend. This poem had nothing to do with my daughter or anything about my mental state. It was merely a metaphor which you obviously did not comprehend. Thank you for your time in looking though.

    It would seem you need a doctor's care even more than your daughter. Many will pray for you and your daughter.
