I went to hell and back
to see if I had a soul
I went and hit rock bottom
to prove that I can't fall
I sat alone in darkness
to see if I was blind
I threw away my eyes
to see if I could find
I dressed myself in black
to help me disappear
when my brother died
I shed an ocean's tear
I looked beyond my sin
to see my only son
I found an empty pen
to write the things I've done
I wrote about my world
to find the world is telling lies
I wrote to god himself
to ask why the good one dies
I walked along some quick sand
to prove that I won't sink
I wrote about the truth
to make you people think
I wrote with such a passion
like I was making love
I only told the truth
in all of thee above

Absolutely amazing!
I love the way your words just flow so freely in this poem. I love the message it shines forth. The complete and utter honesty you have shared. A soul open for the viewing, what a wonderful gift to share.
Blessings,
Azlyn

I like the parts where it said you did something just to prove something. The whole thing all together was pretty good, but those were my favorite parts.

You are such a talented poet i respect that and stand in awe of your way with the words. You always tell from the heart and the message gets through showing the quality of the man behind the words. Still think your poems should be spread acroos the world for the youth to read
