Happenstance is fondling Chaos, now and then Sixty-Nine
Fate and Chance both fight for Tomorrow (Virgins are hard to find)
Existence flirts with Destiny as Knowledge sees at last
The Present and The Future being buggered by The Past
Don’t make me watch or I'll piss my pants
Don’t make me watch or I’ll leak
Life is sick and dying of Cancer, Death is alive and well
Good’s with child and must marry Honor, Evil has one to sell
Morality’s delirious Compassion is denied
So Valor joins with Innocence in double suicide
Don’t make me watch or I might blow chunks
Don’t make me watch or I’ll hurl
Hope is being throttled by Reason, Faith tries to hold the fort
Happiness is hanging for crimes unspecified in court
As Trust was beaten brutally by Avarice and Spite
True Beauty lay with Decadence to make it through the night
Don’t make me watch or I’ll shit my bed
Don’t make me watch or I’ll crap
Humanity is begging for Mercy, Apathy doesn’t care
Ignorance just turns away as if no one is there
But, Greed has wagered all our souls and Ego’s keeping score
Irreverence sings this ditty he calls ‘Fucked Forevermore’
Don’t make me watch or I’ll just give up
Don’t make me watch or I’ll fry

Alan ~ I wrote a similiar poem...don't know if I posted it or not, I'll have to look. Yours, of course, is much better, and much more to chew on. I like it. But then, I like everything you dooooo

Your review was deeper than the poem. I'll take it!

I thought that this was great, I love your way of thinking, it brings the reader deeper into their own mind, and pulls things formerly left for the preconscious out into the open. Great write.

A Forecasted Winner
This one here makes me think back to Michael Jackson's song..."You can't win, you can't break even, and you can't get
out of the game." Somehow, there's a tie-in in my mind. I spot
a winner here.
