As i sit at my desk and ponder
Over to the family photo board
My eyes they do wander
Photo's of the kids on sunny days
Photo's of them in their pj's
Photo's of them on their first day at school
Photo's of them in the hat they thought was so kool
They use to be so small
Thinks to myself as i look at the kids
Now most of them are ova 6ft tall
Photo's of the kids sitting next to me
Photo's of them swimming in the sea
Photo's of them in a boat on the lake
Photo's of the mess they make eating chocolate cake
As i sit here and i look
I smile and think those memories
If only i cud write a book
Photo's of them leaning ova the bridge playing pooh sticks
Photo's of them with a rugby ball practicing there kicks
Photo's of them playing in the rain
Photo's of them riding on the train
Photo's help to keep memories alive
One photo can hold so many memories
Smiles, as i spot the photo of me n hubby trying to jive
Photo's of the kids singing into a mic
Photo's of them learning to ride a bike
Photo's of our parrot pepper with her missing flight feather
Photo's of the whole family together
Some sad faces with tears
Some happy faces with smiles
Memories oh memories,those wonderful years...

It's amazing how photographs hold and bring
back so many wonderful and beautiful memories
when we look at them. No matter how new or old
they are, they always bring a sense of longing
in the heart to go back and relive those days
all over again.
