I sit alone atop,
A broken staircase tall,
Where a boy I once loved,
Held me.
I sit alone atop,
A broken Staircase tall,
Where I was once happy,
and Free.
I sit alone atop,
A broken Staircase tall,
Where my memories ensconce,
taking me.
I sit alone atop,
A broken Staircase tall,
Where you left me all alone,
and lost.
I sit alone atop,
A broken Staircase tall,
Where I can't forget the Past,
Or live.
I sit alone atop,
A broken Staircase tall,
Where I know I'll never leave,
Fare Well.
I sit alone atop,
A broken Staircase tall,
Waiting for you forever,
Now still.

Perplexing piece! A very unique structure. The flow of this write was good and the message speaks volumes. The repitition might be better if alternated in ever other stanza instead of each one. Overall, a well written and intriguing piece! Thanks for your entry and good luck!!
