I Want to Swallow One Pill From Every Bottle in the Cupboard Right Now

The raging water overflow the dam
The bursting reeds the halo round her head
Shatter short waves you know you have me now
I've seen you with him

And I can't be
Anything worthy
For you

I can't understand why
We were happy until the next day
You were mad and lashed at me
I've not been there to see

That I can't be
Anything worthy
For you

And I guess the greatest wraith
Reveals deep within the greatest love
For I'm unsure you cast me down
And I'm about to sail to this sea

The title is what drew me in to read this poem. I think we've all felt this at one time or another. There are some metaphors, but I like that the message of the poem isn't entirely hidden by them.
