I often sat alone in darkness,
Finding comfort in anonymity.
Until I discovered Dionysus,
And my lion reached its infancy.
No entry without mathematics,
Above the academy door.
You told me this was bohrt,
Triggering me to devour more.
Soon I spoke like Persian prophets,
My internal battles subsided.
Life had left in need of something,
The Will To Power provided.
You did reveal a great beauty,
Through accepting decadence.
You prophesied today,
When you defined existence.
I witnessed your breakdown,
The descent to madness unfold.
You danced with air and fire,
Your last secrets never told.
An Übermensch is remembered,
Through the lessons of past.
Negative and positive are one,
Masks of horror will last.
Author notes
A tribute to the great philosopher.
