God walked through his kingdom
He felt that something was missing
So he came to Earth and used his wisdom
To find the perfect person for the taking
When he finally came to you
He put his arm around you and put you to rest
And with him to heaven you flew
‘Cause God only picks the best
God has lifted you up
Into his kingdom in the clouds
This knowledge is enough
To help us throw off our melancholy shroud
But though you are no longer here
The good times we can not ignore
We will always hold memories of you dear
And you will remain in our hearts forevermore
