Alae! Alae!

Alae! Alae!
Ered en Tallimnon,
ered e mbar nin!

Walking the world for so long,
I have finally caught a glimpse
of a place to call a home.

The High-Seas winds could not
begin to rock my worthy ship,
nor even bend its might mast.

The tree-woven lands of elvenkind,
With delicate, fair skinned elves,
could not begin to sway my path.

Sun-baked desert dunes rolling in the distance,
winds hotter than my cook-fires wildest dreams,
seemed a cool breeze in view of the high-risen hilltop.

Alae! Alae!
Ered en Tallimnon,
ered e mbar nin!

A place I have come to know,
a time of boundless happiness,
the beginning of a family.

Alae! Alae!
Ered en Tallimnon,
ered e mbar nin!

Behold! Behold!
The mountains of Tallimnon,
The mountains of my home!

Oh delicious! I love that prase.
    "Alae! Alae!
    Ered en Tallimnon,
    ered e mbar nin!"
And the transelation is even cooler. I love it comepletely. It flows with rythm and spirit. I love it all.

Yep. That sentence is written in the english-spelled version of J.R.R. Tolkiens Sindarin (Informal Elven)

Hmm... I see a typo... lol!

    Bronretla - Wonderful

Ah ha! I love this poem. Mostly because at first you stare at the line 'Alae! Alae!' and think "I don't speak that language". Love how in the end you explain it without breaking the rythem of the poem.
