Rouge

some mornings, right as dawn
crawls out from its darkened sheets, the sun spirit beckons -
willing me to see myself as the fire goddess
alone with him in the the quiet of day's first blush.
him and I, we are two of a kind
for we know what it is to dance in the dark,
waiting for that glimmer of gold.
at my bravest, I believe we love together
and yet, once day rises,
we are no longer alone.

    hot

What a beautiful piece of poetry, the imagery is great, it's red and gold and gleaming. I love the way the two Lovers are above all others, needing nothing but themselves. The thought of the sun caressing you sends frissons down your spine...

    Enchanting!

An awesome piece that reeks with passion
and wonder. The images you conjure are
    full of mystery and enticement.
The thought of flirting with the sun
at the dawning of day. A romantic notion
that takes fantasy to another level.
The inner spirit is capable of infinite
wonders. To explore life in the corridors
of the creative mind is explosive and thrilling.
Your poem was very enchanting and mystical.
    I really enjoyed the journey
