Possibility

They may take away my money,
Leaving me longing for more
They'd hinder my every dream
Slamming shut, sealing the door
They've taken of my strength
Often at times, beating me
There's one thing from me yet,
I won't ever let go free
That's the "possibility"!
Possibility for me

For those forces beyond our control
"forces beyond our control"
Something they just don't know,
with the
Possibility  "possibility"

As long as I have tomorrow
newborn visions can appear
As long as swallowed sorrow
keeps me kicking at my fear
From one real Man's promise
Even today I still see
When two agree as one
can you my friend believe
in the "possibility"
Possibility we need

Something that we all can show
those forces beyond our control
"forces beyond our control"
with the
Possibility  "possibility"

Faith hovers further higher
than clouded realities of doubt
Faith will fuel such a fire,
nothing dare never to put out
My spirit softly whispers
giving me pleasing serenity
this one way of releasing
to free, what can be
with the
"possibility"
Possibility for me

If you keep your eyes set straight
For brighter, better days up ahead
It won't ever be too late
to arrange changes instead
of succumbing your will,
time, talent and energy
to every demon who'd steal
anything real that can be
with the
Possibility
"possibility we see"

For those forces beyond our control
"forces beyond our control"
hope to hold down your soul
to forget how wonderful
it would be
with  the
Possibility  "possibility"
Possibility
"The pos-si-bil-i-ty we need"

    GREAT JOB!

You are one amazing poet... I was very inspired too, when I read this poem. I can tell that it was written from the heart. I really enjoyed it!

    Tommy,

I clicked on this link from a message you left for Glenda on one of her contest pages, I surely hope you do not mind. Now that I am here would like to let you know that I am most pleased that I clicked. This is one awesome song, I can see this recorded and sold nationally. I don't often think that when reading lyrics on this site. So I have to say you have done a remarkable job here of impressing me. You keep penning dear as it is obvious you have great talent. God Bless you!
    Hugs, Suzi

    Wow Tommy,
This is quite a work of art,
    I could deninately tell,
It came straight from mind and heart.

    You are always writing well,
    And from time to time,
When I come across your poems,
They show that your poetic love shines.

    So now I say good-bye,
It was no pain reading this, rather
I loved it so much, I read it 3 times,
I just hope you write another.

And though my poem is not so great,
It's the thought that matters most,
Because the poem above is so amazingly good,
Your health and happiness I toast.

All my love and best wishes,
    Sarina

    Much Appreciated Tamara!

    Hi Tamara,

It's so great to see you again! Thank you for your
wonderful reply, I'm happy this meets your approval
and I owe a ricoprocation on the courtesy of this visit.
I hope you're doing well and when you post, please
im me the link so I won't miss out. I'm hoping to post
only the things I think will be totally for your
reading pleasure. Funny thing about faith, that
being when you are full of doubt, you can still
carry out the things you should and afterward,
that is when you see an overwhelming good come
about. Well, for me it happens again and again.
To me, it's like climbing a mountain that people
would say you are a fool to try and do, but you
have to prove to every person including yourself,
there is a possibility! That is what works for me.
Best wishes to you with everything you do Tamara.

    Champion Friend!

    Tim,

One of the best friends, I've had the pleasure of knowing.
It is because of you and the things you said that day
has compelled me to never give up on my posting at ap. I
don't know why on earth you are consistently so good to me
when I see you have such popularity here. But brother, I
am so in your debt for not forgetting me. You and Dennis
and others keep me going strong to my focus and I'm
eternally grateful. You bring out the big poet I aspire
to be. Though I love my songs dearly, there is power in
poetry I can't refuse to write. That is when the moment's
right. God bless you Tim and your family with health,
wealth, happiness and prosperity in all your endeavors.

I'm getting better with this hurtful infection I've had
and I'll be active online soon in time. I've dearly missed
you good folks but I hope to bring you good treasures soon.
I've chosen to post less because I want to give you only my
best. This will always be my poetic home. I won't worry Tim
about the applauses and such superficial things anymore
for I write for myself and for good friend like Dennis and
you. "To thine own self be true". I can't agree more! That
is why to you and Dennis too, I'm forever grateful for
all that you still do for me. It's just the possibility. lol

    Thanks My Friend!

    Hi Dennis my friend,

Thank you for stopping in on this song I just wrote. I've
been in a lot of pain but I'm getting better now. I just
had to see my own possibility. I appreciate your
encouragement always and I'm planning on bringing many
delights before your eyes soon. I only post my own once
or maybe twice a month for a while because I'm very busy.
Send me aqn im anytime on your work and I promise I'll
keep seeing your poems. I gave up on intreating others
to visit me because I'm busy trying new ideas to find
a way to bring about some kind of good opportunity to
use my time, energy and talents for productive purposes
on the net. I've been had badly by video professor ($80)
so I've got to me careful and survey groups have too many
schemes to steal my own money or waste my precious time
too often. Here and now I challenge any good soul to show
me the way of finding something worthwhile online. There is
one thing I'm working on fixing up my site and sponsoring
those to which I do believe in by displaying their banners
but sadly, I've yet to find much. However I do see the
possibility with this also. Anyway, I thank you and I'm
happy you still see my work worthy to visit. I got another
song I'm working on called "Bound For Glory" that you're sure
to love coming soon. I'm working on my music production at
home too since I'm presently out of work. You take care,
brother. Peace to you. I hope your life is going great!
See you again real soon. God bless you and yours Dennis.

    superb

    great meter in it all
    My favorite part is:

    AWESOME!

Wow my dear brother, this song Rocks, and so full of indepth meaning. And you are so right, life no matter how bad the days can get, we have hope, and the possibility within each day that comes from the heavens above filled with unconditional love. I for one enjoy this write on many levels, and your message shines through crystal clear. Back to the basics bro, and like poetry, how we share our hearts, we also help one another grow with our forever bond we share within art, through truthful and faithful hearts. Much love to you and your honey, I'm sure she'll enjoy this, you must share it with her, if you have not yet! Extra Brownie Points! You are one cool dude, keep that pen filled, I have a feeling you have a lot more to share. I'll be in touch, peace, love, and harmony! poeticweaver, Timbro, Timothy..lol..
