A Sacred Equilbrium Pledge

Keep your own house in good order,
make sure hands are sinlessly clean.
Tend love ones with abiding sweet love,
show tender mercies these days unseen.

Fear not another's intentional motives,
for he is the catalyst indefensible.
Stands to lose more than his life's voltive,
in misleading efforts coercive transitional.

This journey through life,is but a test of faith,
in all that is upheld good, convictions unswayed.
If I speak to you as children, deny me not your ears,
it's a voice of compassion, meant to alleviate your fears.

No one can harm you,at least beyond the flesh.
Stay true to known morals,in God's eye you'll pass life's test.

give me faith and love will follow

    So well said of faith and love and the good of us, ;
I stumble and scuff my knees so many times, but the good always
    wins out...when I go to heaven , I hope... I'll need some
knee pads ...and wisdom only comes in tiny droplets,..
May my gardian angel get a medal .... Your poem is powerful
and the message a reminder to hold faith with all our hearts.

beautifully written, Suseann, and exactly the dose of "poetic medicine" I somehow needed signing on to AP tonight. I know the intention of this poem was as to a universal message and pledge--But you know, it reads so eloquently a personal message as well, and certainly a pledge, a prayer and a poem of faith and courage and what makes for not only a good earth but a good life!

    Warms The Heart!

    Suseann,

I commend your conviction on this poem you have done,
a refreshing read indeed just like the warm Summer sun.
It's sweet to know other crusaders for the sake of good,
in helping our troubled world to be a better brotherhood.
It's quite easy for me to say this to a soul like you,
Keep strong and may blessings follow all that you do.
